• Touch Screen Technology

It's As Easy As Touch and Go!



The classroom module is driven by touch screen technology along with a very easy-to-use interface to simplify the educator's job. Attendance is done with a few simple touches of the screen, and the data is stored in a centralized location in real time. Educators and Administrators have access to this data in the Administrative module. Reports are easily generated from this centralized data.

If an incident report is created, it will immediately be sent to an employee, a list of employees, or a team of employees assigned to a student who will see the incident on their next login, or it will pop up on their screen if they are logged in.

• Comprehensive Reporting

Customized Reporting Made Easy

Reports are easily generated using Touch ECS-- simply navigate to the section of the reports you want, select a few parameters and click the View Reports button.

Administrative reports generate data on student population, SEDCAR information and standard correspondence such as letters and envelopes or labels.



Student reports provide data regarding incidents/alerts, schedules. A Contact Manager in the students reporting section reports any/all contact with a student or the student's parents or guardians. Having a centralized location for viewing parental contacts can keep your staff up to speed on everything that is happening with students and parents.

• Flexible Security

Customizable Security Options



Touch ECS allows you to create basic security templates (no access, view-only access, and full access) which, when applied to an employee's account gives them basic access rights to the data. The employee's access to data can be limited further by specifying that they are only permitted to see the student's information.

In addition to the above security, each employee's security data can be individually modified to add or remove access to certain items in Touch ECS.

The use of an auditing module tracks all changes to the database:

• Who made changes
• When they made changes
• What the exact changes were
• Relevant Resource Access

What is RRA?

Relevant Resource Access (RRA) is a concept designed by BOLDcode and is implemented in Touch ECS.

Using RRA, the person logging in can be directed to the most relevant resource neeeded for that sign-in based on certain parameters.



For example, Touch ECS uses RRA to determine whether to access the classroom module or the administration module for the person logging in based on: location of their login (are they in a classroom?), login time (is it time for a class?), and who the person logging in is (is this a classroom teacher?)

• Integrated IEP

Integrated Individual Educational Plan

With integrated IEP, personal student data is entered once. It is in a central database that can be reviewed and/or updated by the appropriate people based on their security access.

IEP can be restricted to only assigned students, or all students if needed.



All medical data is tied in automatically to the student's IEP (height/weight, complete body review, immunization information, etc.)

Educator's input in centrally located and can be reviewed by the CSE committee with ease-- no paper to redistribute. Progress from year-to-year becomes easily trackable and can be used for trend tracking. Relevant changes are recorded and are available for review.
